Olorun is a mission-focused small business supporting government programs that operate at the intersection of national mission priorities, acquisition execution, and rapidly evolving technology. The name Olorun reflects a belief in the responsible use of knowledge and influence to benefit others and strengthen outcomes. For the firm’s founder, Mariama, it represents a commitment to applying trusted judgment, experience, and insight in service of meaningful, lasting impact.

Our Leadership

Olorun is led by professionals with more than two decades of experience supporting acquisition programs across the Department of Homeland Security and Department of Defense, spanning program management, cost and schedule analysis, systems integration, analytics, and governance.

Leadership engagement is direct and hands-on. Programs work with experienced practitioners—not layered staffing models—ensuring responsiveness, accountability, and continuity.

Mariama Bah

Mariama Bah is an acquisition and decision analytics professional supporting mission-critical government programs where operational urgency, technical complexity, and disciplined execution converge. Her work focuses on enabling high-consequence decisions through structured analysis, integration, and governance.

She holds a B.S. in Decision Sciences from George Mason University, an MBA from the University of Maryland – Robert H. Smith School of Business, and a Certificate in Innovation from Harvard University.

Mariama has supported complex DHS and DoD program integration effortsto inform acquisition milestones and senior decision-making. Her experience also includes acquisition and program analytics support to the CWMD and PMWESS Teleport Program Office at the Defense Information Systems Agency, as well as operational support to defense initiatives during Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom.

In addition, she has led enterprise digital transformation initiatives at the World Bank Group and supported analytics and systems modernization efforts at the United States Patent and Trademark Office and Freddie Mac.

Across these roles, Mariama is recognized for her ability to connect decision science, analytics, and governance to real operational outcomes. She is also the founder of a nonprofit organization supplying critical medical devices to support healthcare delivery in Guinea.
